Rationale
As a team we created the REV Film Festival Event. This event is intended to be a one weak event with genre specific film screenings at multiple location throughout the city of Calgary. The leading concept is for the event to be rebellious, daring, and renegade. This event is a direct film revolution!
In a world where everything is guided by standards, rules, margins and expectations we are often forgetting the unexpected alternatives. Thus, the REV Film Fest is on the mission to break the boundaries of the regularity that we are confined to. Through the screenings, virtual and live forum discussions the REV Film Fest will depict the alternative, the forgotten and the neglected ways of thought.
The main concept of the visual graphics of the event branding stream from the desire / goal of the event to break through the regular and show irregularity. All of the graphics are puzzled together out of the unique festival arrow shaped logo while maintaining a diversity of visual graphics.
